Description
Males with breast and shoulders orange, head and back black, rump white. Female and male winter plumage duller, head and black scaly brownish. In winter large flocks in Beech Woods.

Decidous , mixed and coniferous woods
Diet
Insects , seeds , especially Beech Mast
When does the Branbling Breed ?
May to July , 5 - 7 eggs, Incubation 13 days , young fledging at 12 to 14 days, Nest in trees.
