Length 6-8 mm

Description

The Ground Colour of this mirid varies fom red-orange to fully black although the cunneus particularly near tips retains some form of red . The two forms are shown below

There are two coloured variety of this mirid one reddish the other blackish bug feeds on small insects and can be found on a range of plants, especially nettles.
Legs -Tibia are unbanded .Antennal Segments - 1st antennal segment and base of the 2nd segement at least are black.
