Length 4.5 - 6.0 mm
Description A pale brown shieldbug with a notable broad and laterally expanded connexivum and a very rounded head. Loud stridulation can be produced in the male.
Life Cycle Nymphs appear June-August and are associated with Mouse-eared Hawkweed and Potentilla species, which are assumed to be the hostplants. The new generation of adults is complete from August onwards.
Habitat In sandy areas, brownfield and wasteland sites and warm, sheltered slopes on calcareous grassland.Scarce and locally distributed across southern England,
