Identification
- A large straw-coloured species which is distinctive
- dark line parallel to the front of the vertex, contines across the eyes.
- Other morphological features assisting ID - Narrow longitudinal line along the scutellum and bottom half of the pronotum, with intermittent lateral lines parallel to it
- Corio-claval suture is narrowly darkened.
ie The commissure and claval suture are brown, while there is a broad, dark transverse stripe forming a shallow arc that joins the two eyes.Life Cycle
Habitat Found in various grassland habitats , originally in SE Coastal areas but spreading accross central and inland England
