Please noteUsing a Software Shareware known as CHIRP is the much preferred means of programming hand held radios. Problems installing the Baofeng CD have been reported depending on what operating system you are running etc and language and the Chinese Character sets may make this unfeasible CHIRP is a versatile programme solution that allows you pre programme hand held transceivers for a number of variables and import and export data etc The CHIRP software will operate on Windows , MAC and Linux . Please note we supply a fully functioning Cable and CD but can not offer advice on how to programme it or use it given the variety of operating systems , drivers , firewalls and antivirus We will do our best to provide links and advice to help you but please note installation , Drivers , Firewalls and Antivirus are all dependent on what system you are operating if in doubt seek help on installing the programme . Many useful csv files can be downloaded from UK Repeater net to import into the transceiver and they are many videos on tube showing how to do this. Please do not leave adverse feedback if you have technical difficulties with your device we are only a small Charity .
