Family: Menyanthaceae ( Bogbean)

Aquatic perennial found in shallow water as well as damp peaty soil in marshes and bogs. Widespread and locally common. Emergent leaves trifoliate and resemble those of broad bean. Clusters of star-shaped, pinkish white, fringed flowers, March to June. Height up to 15cm
