Family Plantain Plantaginaceaea
Description
Downy, grey-green perennial of disturbed ground and rocky sites, mainly near the sea. The deeply cut, pinnately divided leaves form a rosette. Stalked flower heads seen May to October. It differs from Sea plantain which has has yellow flowers and long leaves, narrow like grass.Buck's horn plantain has leaves that look like small deer `antlers.

Habitat
Widespread and common around coasts of Britain and Ireland.
