Description
Hairy semi erect sprawling branched annual 20 - 60cm height.Flowers Cup-shaped , pinkish or purple, 5 -10 mm, on short stalks ,5 petals notched . Leaves The lower long stalked all divided almost to the base into 7 narrow toothed lobes .Fruits are downy, beak like with 5 segments that curl upwardsexplosively to disperse ripe seeds.
Habitat
Common on open bare and disturbed ground grassy places, waysides usually on well drained soils.
