Description

A stout hairless fleshy Biennial. Leaves , dark green lanceolate with a prominant mid rib. Flowers in open clusters of 2 types (a) - similar to Michalemas daisy ie ( purple florets with yellow centre ) 12 - 20 mm (b) Rayless form similar to an upright large groundsel . 8 - 10 mm Height short to medium up to 1 m .Flowering July - October.

Habitat

By the sea or usually in tidal salt marshes
