Downy perennial found mainly in dry, calcareous grassland. Widespread and fairly common in S Britain but scarce or absent elsewhere. The pinnate leaves comprise oval, lobed leaflets. Bractless umbels of yellowish flowers seen June to SeptemberHeight up to 1m
